Advanced Search gmail for unread emails - unread search query

From time to time I need to search for eamils in my gmail account for unread emails.
Even advanced gmail search does not have that option available however the solutions is simpler thna that. Into search text box type: ” label:Unread ” and hit search button.
If you would like to search just in your lables or in inbox use advanced search with the same keyword ” label:Unread ” but with appropriate label or search for ” is:unread label:inbox “which is the same thing.
